Address Marker Program

Special signs glow in the dark so emergency personnel can find your home. Officers and emergency personnel may need to find your house in an emergency.  Many houses in our County's  rural areas are poorly marked,  making it difficult to find  in a hurry.  Such delays can be life threatening in the “golden hour” (time period many refer to as highest likelihood that prompt treatment will prevent death)

New E911 Address

Need An Address For A New House, Building or Utility Service?

Enhanced 911 (E911) addresses in Chautauqua County are assigned by the E911 Manager.  House numbers are assigned by a standardized system using measurements between properties, road lengths, and even/odd sides of the road.  Correct addresses are vital in the event of an emergency, as the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center relies heavily on correct addresses.   If you are building a new house or building, or need an address for utility connection, please contact the Chautauqua County E911 manager.  Nikki Adams 716-753-4909 or Email Here!
