Sheriff's Office Website. As Sheriff, I am excited about being a part of
the Internet. Information has always been a significant part of the law
enforcement profession whether it is being used to solve crime, prevent
crime, or for general public safety. The computer age has made us much
more effective in our collection and use of information, which in turn
makes us more efficient law enforcement officers. As you review our
Website, you will see that the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is a
diversified agency that provides a variety of public safety services to
our area. I am proud to serve as the Sheriff of one of the finest law
enforcement agencies in the State of New York. Our people are the reason
for our success and reputation. They are carefully selected, are highly
trained, intelligent, and motivated. They have adapted quickly to our new
technologies and are looking forward to new challenges that the future
