Boater Safety Courses Being Offered In Chautauqua County Are
As Follows
If you have any

The
Chautauqua County Office of the Sheriff will be
holding 4 boater safety courses this spring. There
is NO PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
and the courses are free to everyone under the
age of 18. Those attendees age 18 and over will
have to pay a $10.00 fee to New York State prior
to receiving the certification card.
This class is required for anyone age 10 to 18
that wants to operate a vessel, and for EVERYONE
age of 14 and up (including adults) to legally
operate a personal watercraft (jet ski). Again
there is NO PRE-REGISTRATION
REQUIRED for any of these courses. Ages
of operation can be viewed on our laws section
of this website.
