The
Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team is composed of a number of
highly trained individuals. SWAT, which stands for
Special
Weapons And
Tactics,
responds to situations in Chautauqua County ranging from crowd control
to armed barricaded suspects with hostages. Members of the SWAT Team are
highly trained in defensive tactics, specialized weapons, entry and
breech methods. |

Each member has a specific function and for the Team to function
effectively teamwork is essential.
