Pistol permits in Chautauqua County are handled through the Sheriffs Office Pistol Permit division. Information on this office is listed below. A mandatory firearms safety course must be completed and course information can be obtained from your local gun dealer or club.

Fees:
$5.00 for application packet
$20.00 for fingerprints & photo
$99.00 postal money order for Federal & State fingerprint processing
$10.00 for actual permit
 $3.00 fee per pistol for removal or addition onto your permit once issued.
